The coalition has received a federal Drug-Free Communities grant to prevent youth substance use. Local problems require local solutions, and every part of Madison County has a seat at the table.

Who we are
Neighbors helping neighbors live healthier
The Madison County Health Coalition started in 2000. Local health professionals, community leaders and interested neighbors came together around common goals like stopping tobacco use and substance abuse.
Today the coalition’s tobacco prevention coordinators are out at community events all over the county, from First Friday on the Huntsville square to school assemblies, sharing the free Be Well Arkansas quit line and helping families stay tobacco- and drug-free.
